If a 40 year old person with 40 years of communication experience and a fully developed pre-frontal cortex can't convince a 7 year old person to behave well without beating the shit out of them, the problem seems to be with the 40 year old and not the 7 year old.

This isn’t parenting advice, it’s abuse. When I practiced family law, it was definitely considered abuse. It’s also a sign of an unintelligent parent since you lack the ability to effectively communicate in a disciplinary manner so bad that you have to resort to abuse and violence. It’s that simple.

I used to be heavy in to RnB growing up, and slowly as I got older Alternative became my comfort. Idk what changed. Not to say I don't still listen ti RnB just nowhere near as much as before.
