Tableau was so so good. I loved the dev interface so much.

I learned tableau way before learning SQL and I’m really glad I did. It was much easier that way.

The closest thing I’ve found to that is the experience from Sigma computing, but they don’t offer a single user tier.

I'm not a data masking kind of guy, personally.

BUT, I wanted to screenshot some anonymized usage data from a usage dataset and it was so easy to apply a mask.

I didn't plan on it, but seeing the "Mask data" prompt in the catalog, I was curious and built it mostly on accident.

I think this is the most intimidating part of getting into dbt full time. The training is great, scheduling things is great, but getting that first dbt_rpitcher build can be a little scary
