Good point… I’m probably old school, I check in case something comes in that is an emergencey of some kind, and am surprised that emails are there that aren’t…

absolutely, I would really welcome a conversation about how can we keep ourselves and our newer colleagues well to keep on doing a job which does elevate the voice of people who face worse than we do.

This is something we should talk about more and feel OK in that. Research that records distress and injustice takes a toll. It would be great to create a network in this. Great point made, don’t let worry be the point of departure, but the point of reaching out. Wishing you the best.

I agree, it’s tricky to handle in a group, and some published evidence of this reaction would be useful to have in your back pocket
