a friend of my parents, proper old-school activist in her late 70s, asks me every time I see her "what are your generation doing about this?" (govt, inequality, rise in racist nationalism etc) and I don't know how to answer her. she comes from a generation where protest worked. I don't.

There's a guy who unicycles from Bury to Radclife in north Manchester. It's very surreal. He once spooked my dog so jumped off and threw a ball for him for about half an hour.
