2. There are now more detailed stats publicly available, which show that the Migration Agency approved a total of SIX standard citizenship applications in April (to compare: in March the figure was 3,234).
Stats showing that naturalisation cases fell from 3234 in March to 6 in April.

We got a question from a reader of The Local who listens to our Sweden in Focus podcast. They want to know how to get more involved in life in Sweden. What are your best tips?
The text reads: "Thank you for making this podcast! I look forward to listening to this every week. Learn so much about Sweden I would have never figured out. I love the nitty gritty on the new immigration rules. I love learning cultural history. My Swedish partner also learns new things about Sweden! One thing I would like to see more of is how to get more involved in life in Sweden. For example how to join a climate group, how to join a political party, it feels difficult to know how to get involved sometimes."
