It’s crazy how much your thought processes change when your frontal lobe forms. I’m a completely new person, the girl you knew before was another entity. My ideals, morals, desires, they longer feel foreign and foggy. It’s a blessing and a curse to finally understand who you are.

As American politics and media trends shift to more “conservative” I am reminded of the Chinese cultural revolution. Books and art were burned and the idea of moving to the countryside and working the land being the ideal was spread. History repeats itself over and over.
