Lots of froglets and a couple of juvenile buzzards branching out on today's very hot afternoon walk. Joe also managed to give a drink of water to a young crow who was looking thirsty.

One of two little fox cub friends from yesterday afternoon 🥲

Seems that mortality before breeding age is up to 80%! I didn't realise it was so high, it's a tough life for them.

This is our fox friend, she is very tame as she's fed by the neighbours. She has a lot of old injuries but lives a quiet life here.

On today's walk we saw a kingfisher, a pair of buzzards, a pair of rooks and Joe puffed a load of puffballs with a stick 💨
