In Chinese calligraphy, there's a beautiful progression from 'kaishu' (formal script with controlled strokes) to 'xingshu' (running script where lines flow more freely while maintaining recognizable forms). In this quilt, I'm experimenting with a xingshu approach to bias tape outlines. #quiltsky

I’m working through Zak Foster’s book, The World Needs Your Next Quilt, and rising to the challenge of incorporating non-traditional fabrics in quilting. The teal palette would include a green WOOL, and the coral pink palette uses VELVET!
