My resin sculptures and paintings inform each other and guide further investigations in each medium. I photograph the sculptures under the bright intensity of colored light and use them as the basis for my paintings.

My solo exhibition, “In Pleasant Company”, is on view at Marquee Projects in Bellport, NY from June 28 until Aug 3. My multi-disciplinary practice results in works in 3 media—sculpture, photography, and painting—which inform each other and guide further investigations in each medium.

I had a wonderful time talking to Christina Nafziger in front of my show at 21c Museum Hotel in Kansas City last fall about our shared interest in dolls, horror films, and the female gaze. Now you can read about our conversation in issue 49 of Create! Magazine.
