Sorry, but Kielar seems unprepared to handle Miller effectively and consistently struggles when he's on the show. It's best to reconsider inviting him if it's only leading to awkward outcomes.
Stephen Miller went on CNN and was so transparently full of shit that he ended up lashing out at the host

We need to inform the American people that a significant portion of the budget is spent on defense!
One of my party facts is that according to polls, Americans believe foreign aid is about 25% of the federal budget and on average that it *should* be about 10%.

The actual number is less than 1%.

Foreign aid has long been a boogey man of the right, so it's not surprising they're vilifying it now.

I urge Congress to prevent Elon Musk from accessing our sensitive data.
Indivisible is urging people to visit their senators' local offices between now and Thursday to demand that they use every tool—including denying a quorum and blocking unanimous consent—to fight the confirmation of Project 2025 architect Russell Vought for head of OMB docs.google.com/document/d/1...

actually respect the pub I'm in for playing The Velvet Underground's Heroin, beautifully unhinged choice for a cosy pub on a Monday night

What an amazing cast and ending!
Another random observation from this weekend. Saw Conclave and thought it was fascinating. Amazing cast!

The GOP and Democrats have similar foreign policies regarding Israel, but Democrats seem to either misjudge public opinion or disregard it concerning Israel's actions and the U.S. supplying weapons for these purposes. If you disagree, exercise your right to vote. That's democracy.
“The Democrats didn’t do enough on Gaza, so I withheld my vote to make a statement.”

“Well, Trump won and now he’s gonna destroy Gaza.”

“Yep. We’re paying the price for the Democrats’ incompetence.”

“‘We?’ The Gazans are paying the price, not us”

Pause.

“I needed to make a statement.”

I'm not teaching my grad course 'Civil Resistance: How It Works' this semester. But here is an abridged version of the course schedule, readings, and films I used the last time I taught it (in 2022). Just in case it's useful. drive.google.com/file/d/14RRJ...

I worked for the Department of Defense in Northern Virginia and trust that lower-level employees there will find ways to navigate around him.
very excited to see what happens when you make a deeply compromised addict the leader of the department of defense and subordinate to a madman
