My son learned to use a pacifier the trip that started this side project-he’s now 8yo! Life happens!! ”River restoration effects on dispersal & the development of riparian seed bank: do poor seed banks limit restoration of boreal riparian zones?” onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/...

Great winter field trip to the local continuous cover forestry field trial! Crust so thick we could walk on it! Being course leader for a Silviculture course in N Sweden in the middle of winter has its challenges, but it’s so worth it to get the students out of the classroom.

What an amazing resource we have in the Swedish National Forest and Soil Inventories! When your study site is a whole country, with >400 plots, you can find patterns... Ditches show systematic impacts... www.sciencedirect.com/science/arti...

Just submitted my 1st, 1st author paper since my husband died 3 yrs ago. From a project born out of necessity-when Covid + Cancer made Finland not possible. I can't thank @kuglerovastripe.bsky.social enough for her drive, support, friendship and help w/everything from field work to writing💙🙏
