Listened to this whilst cooking dinner and I swear at certain points I actually thought I was in the New Forest with them. Just lovely 😍

My forthcoming novel, Codename Hirondelle, is set between 1938 and 1949, and follows the adventures of Jack Rambler, an SOE agent operating behind enemy lines in World War 2, and Ruth Tyler, a police sergeant in the Lake District. The novel is my tribute to the children’s adventure stories I read when I was growing up. In the 60s and 70s, I read a lot of the children’s classics, beginning with Enid Blyton’s…

I’m not a football fan but this was recommended so thought I’d give it a go. It was brilliant. So funny and moving with really clever staging. Highly recommend!

Couldn’t agree more. I didn’t expect to enjoy this film half as much as I did 👏
Thought Mickey 17 was goofy, wonky fun at the flicks yesterday. Today, thinking about it some more, I think it might also be rather excellent. It’s very silly, passionate, and puppyish. And incredibly 2000AD, and I’m here for more of that. It would 100% have been drawn by Ian Gibson or Steve Dillon.
