May 25th: I got up at 5:30 to take ECR to San Francisco, rode my first ever Muni trip on 14, visited the Carnaval parade (hesitant on sharing photos because there were some skimpy outfits), and then took ECR back south because I enjoy torturing myself.

May 17th: I took BART up to San Francisco for an educator protest, and then 292 and ECR back down.

May 4th: this 25 trip takes the record for "most behind schedule bus I've ever been on". (Cinco de Mayo parade)

May 3rd: taking the first train of the day for 20 minute light rail weekend service restoration (which is part of the reason why I have so many boardings that day lol).

I bought this book in 2023 and it’s hands down one of the best books I’ve ever owned. Gorgeous watercolor illustrations, interesting information. The same author has some books on California’s forests and deserts that I hope to get sometime.

I’ve definitely gotten much more used to SJCC and I do like it for many reasons, but the coolest thing about Evergreen is having a good hike after classes.
