This alert on iOS 26 kind of annoyed me. End users should not have to understand multitasking and the OS should be taking care of closing app. This just encourages that behaviour of users swiping away all their apps in the app switcher.

I have a total boner over Fairphone's detailed specifications of their USB cable. This is the first cable manufacturer I've ever seen list this stuff. It's so rare that I literally own a cable tester so I can extract this data myself.

I do think iOS 26 does a good job of picking photos and laying out the background. Particularly enjoying this one.

Im convinced this is a long standing iOS bug. The device isn’t too hot, it’s just hit 80% charge. It always happens at 80%. It’s looking after battery health.

This has existed as a bug for several major OS versions now but I’ve never seen anyone else talk about it.

So talking to German friend, we got onto Ritter Sport. I said I like "Praline" and he didn't know the word. He said "Oh yeah that's Nougat in germany". The Ritter website has it listed as Praline in the UK but the top level menu item clearly shows it as "Nougat" […]
