Air Bond
Look, the film opens in Heaven with James Bond stealing an angel's wings after strangling the angel with harp strings, then he throws a halo at the pearly gates to keep them from closing all the way, he flies out sideways and finds himself back on Earth reincarnated into a royal corgi.

It's easy!

spoke with the executive director of my local food bank today and got this really incredible line: "if you donate 1 can of green beans, we can give away 1 can of green beans. but if you donate a dollar, we can give away 6 cans of green beans"

The next Bond movie should be about how they have to go to Hell and bring Bond back because of austerity measures and Brexit.

Peter Hyams has a hell of a catalogue, genre flicks that hit harder than they need to. From Busting to Timecop. Narrow Margin was a frequent rental from the neighbourhood Sev.
Last night’s film, OUTLAND (1981). In the period between Bond & his late 1980s renaissance as older sex symbol, Sean Connery did some really Interesting films. Solid mix of low-fi SF, western & bad town noir. Could argue Connery at his best when he wasn’t firm in his footing, as seems the case here

Ppl are messy and complicated and that’s what makes stories good. Everyone is messy and complicated in The Lowdown and it just makes for such a rich and compelling story. I shed a tear, I’m not ashamed.
Sterlin Harjo: It’s not very hard to look out your window and see diversity, and it’s very lazy when you don’t try to understand that diversity around you. And it’s like, Well, are you a writer or not? That’s your job, you know?
Finished THE LOWDOWN this evening. What a rich, wide show, maybe the best mystery series I've seen in years, with a deep sense of place and character -- and perfectly cast, right down to the cameos. Once you've seen the whole thing, read this lovely @avclub.com interview with Sterlin Harjo.

Men embracing reading is the absolute worst thing to happen to manosphere influencers and hate groups. They don't know how to pivot to take advantage of that. It's not like Andrew Tate is going to be able to lead a YouTube discussion on Watchmen.
