Thrilled to be in the October issue of Cosmic Horror Monthly! “Pink Baby” is one of my stranger stories- and a Steencraft short story finalist back in 2019. Never give up on your weird gems!

My mom found this pic of me and my friend Pam by her pool- about ten years ago. It made me realize how much I miss her. And also where did this t shirt go?

I needed some simple joy. So I ordered a few “choose your own adventure” books. I want to fall off a cliff, be eaten by sharks, join the Ant People. At least I have a choice in the matter.

I finally took my car through the wash. And remembered the simple joy of how weird it is to be inside a soapy, pummelling machine. For three whole mintues I felt wonder, before emerging back into life. Try it- and pretend you don’t know what’s happening. Freakishly glorious.

Someday, if there is a book deal, I’ll be following a Wienermobile around and selling my books. Hot dogs do not feature in the stories, but there’s plenty of lips and assh@les
