I seldom spend so much time on the Economy prize in Nobels honor, but this year’s focus is so relevant that it's defintely worth digging deeper into! Have you stopped to wonder what really makes a country prosper in the long run? Is it natural resources? A powerful military? A stable currency? Well, Sveriges Riksbank (Sweden's central bank) just gave us a huge hint.

I so hope that this nonsense of anti vaccination ends. But I know I’m just wishing to the stars…although I think one very good way of insuring less spread of the disease between countries could be to start checking passengers vaccination cards 😉

Of Mice and Women: A history of oversight in biomedical research
“All models are wrong,” said statistician George Box, “but some are useful.” The question we rarely ask is: useful for whom? In the story of biomedical science, few creatures have had a more significant, if unexamined, impact than the laboratory mouse. Small, genetically pliable, and cost-effective, mice have become our primary stand-ins for human biology. They have helped us understand the basics of cancer, immunity, and aging.

Threads of Meaning: Clothing, Power, and the Shape of Humanity
How silent choices in attire reveal our deepest values — and sometimes, our greatest hypocrisies. We often underestimate the weight of what we wear.Yet throughout history, clothing has been a silent but potent statement at moments of joy, power, sadness, and respect.Clothes have been used to celebrate, to mourn, to mark authority, and to unify or exclude. They are as crucial to personal branding and team identity as flags are to nations — tools to signal belonging, distance, power, or humility.

Dental Regeneration: The Quest for Growing New Teeth
April 24, 2025 A confession...my dental fascination I have a confession to make: as a teen I wanted to become a dentist. I've had the privilege of having exceptional dentists all my life, and all of them were so passionate about what they did that they actually shared a lot of their knowledge with me. It ended with me doing practicals with them in high school, and even though my journey continued with other aspects of science, I always found the oral cavity super interesting, mainly because it is truly a complex jungle in there.

Glamour in Orbit: When Space Becomes a Stage Instead of a Frontier
Last week, pop icon Katy Perry and a handful of other celebrities were launched into orbit in what’s being hailed as a "landmark moment for commercial space travel." The headlines were ablaze with talk of sparkly suits, curated playlists, and designer zero-gravity fashion. But while the public relations machine spun this into a triumphant celebration of inclusion and progress, many of us are left with a deep sense of unease.

The Beauty of Promises – And the Science Behind Them
The other day I came across the news regarding a member of the Swedish royal family lending her name to promote a new skin care brand that as many others promise to be the most efficient and best skin care for your skin. In the world of skincare and beauty, promises are abundant—hydration, radiance, anti-aging, transformation. But what happens when these promises fall short?

This was a great explanation to what I have been trying to understand , meaning the passive behavior of the Democratic Party in the US. If this indeed the way that Party is stratergiding to change the game, I only see more distruction to the US. 😞 youtube.com/watch?v=h1Ou...
