1/2 Yesterday I completed my second ever #triathlon. I spent the first 38 years of my life being terrified of even getting in to the water. Usually I prefer to keep this account for science, nature and ornithology related content but this feels like the kind of achievement worth celebrating!

Great talk by @juliancap.bsky.social #BOU2025 demonstrating that gulls and storks move plastic particles from landfill sites to wetlands in Southern Spain. Very interesting example and important consideration for waste management policy. #Ornithology
