#blessed in the PNW to have vine maples which we can pretend are basically japanese maples
a photo of my front yard from this past spring. front and center is a small, three-year-old vine maple, probably like four feet tall (the top isn't visible) and still very upright-growing, with blooming dog violets around its base. it's late afternoon so the light is low and the grass looks very VERY green. you can also see our manzanita, dogwood, and spirea in the background.

I have a disability, specifically one for which I needed & received accommodations in college (which is the topic at hand). I think the OP was a 100% reasonable take and I do think that in some cases it's bad when people trick institutions into giving them accommodations they don't need

some recurring tasks live in my head ("load dishwasher, skincare, examen" bedtime habit stack), some live on little index cards, and some get assigned their days of the week (the format for that changes as needed). this is aspirational btw

[note: these are options, not things I do every day] --morning office --devotional --scripture reading -make coffee or tea Begin: * Pick a priority & get it done right out of the gate a 3x4 card titled "Monthly Constellation Routine" Set up monthly spread & task list - set up budget in app - fill bike tires & lube bike chain - confession every 2-3 weeks - review previous month the sort of weekly recurring tasks schedule I'm currently using. on the right of the page is each workday of the week, monday through friday. I took the random things I do every week and assigned each one a day (as well as noted standing appointments/events); mondays I post room schedules, and also have a game night with some friends. wednesdays I restock shared office supplies, think about whether I've been to confession recently or need to go that evening after work, and have alpha team trainings every other week. and so on. on the left side of the page are a few workday habit stacks (resetting my day after lunch & making sure necessary tasks for tomorrow are taken care of) and things I need do at the start, middle, and end of each month. a weekly planning page I was using for a while. on the right is each day of the week with a line for am, pm, and ev[ening] to note down any event happening then (game night for monday evening, a training & quiz on thursday morning, an appointment thursday afternoon, etc) on the left is a habit tracker and a list of tasks that needed to get done that week (cut & sew a dress I made for a trip, make plans with my mom, let a coworker know about some time off I was taking, etc)

the vast vast majority of the journal is just a sunday missal with this page for notes each week. imo it's only worth the price if you want to read/highlight/underline the readings in advance and it's valuable to you to have all of that in one place every year.

these are fairly representative, maybe a little on the flowery side; sometimes it's a bit more insightful, generally it's "fine." the end of each season has the same reflection prompts, "Flip through this season's entries & reflect. I felt the Lord's presence when... ___" etc

yep! this is my fourth one - in 2023 I made it like halfway through easter and petered out, skipped it the next year, but the past 2 years I've kept it up and really loved it.

refreshed the outline & added some foliage to one of my oldest tattoos (c. 2009)

I get where this poster is coming from which is why I'm screenshotting but I think it's interesting that people who are reflexively anti-prohibition will say things like "the underground version is even worse" while actively discussing a situation where the underground version was apparently better
