Granted I've also had people tell me it's my fault for not running a RAID because I have 8 independent drives and that was causing issues

If the drives are ntfs they won't properly work because Linux maintainers still haven't added proper NTFS support because "why would anyone use that?" While also telling everyone to dual boot...

Unfortunately for me that's not my case.
I have to use a lot of proprietary software being an online teacher in China.
Even with LongOS being managed by tencent they still don't have proper Linux versions of a lot of their software

Yeah but most people don't have that time nor do they want to deal with that. Especially when the are two operating systems (Windows and Mac) that just work

I had issues but overall liked the os.
My issues largely stem from software I use for work and the fact that I have 8 drives that are all used for different purposes to help me organize my system.
However on my laptop? Works fine

What bothers me about this is that it would be better for the planet to just invest in very comp sci educational platforms that are easier to get into and access. You'd save the planet a shit ton of energy and after a few weeks of usage, his time frame, users shouldn't find it outputting garbage-

Theo, a tech influencer and investor, literally said in one his most recent videos that vibe coding is only there to help people get interested in coding. That's why he invested in two different vibe coding companies
