it’s a flawed game with a few design oddities and shortcomings but it’s also like
quintessentially indie
and it’s definitely outclassed by many things nowadays but i think the fact that it was so decently solid as a product is something to be lauded

though i disagree on it being mid i also think you need to look at it within the context of its time period
the advancement in ease of access and tools to create indie games have furthered leaps and bounds
i think it’s extremely impressive as a freeware release, one man project-especially the OST
