Every time I say this, I get some type of backlash, but to be a good writer, you have to be a good reader. Yes, read your niche, but read widely too. I read poetry, horror, graphic novels, picture books, and non-fiction, too. It's only made my writing better.

When politicians talk about holding each other accountable I always think about William Graves and Jonathan Cilley, and the congressional culture which led to the one killing the other.
Not for any particular reason, of course. Just ... wow, isn't accountability amazing?

Y'know, if spending a day not drinking anything because I was too afraid of the empty house to go downstairs wasn't a one-off it would be deeply concerning.

I'm not sure whether combining viagra with a fast-acting SSRI does what you'd assume or not, but it makes me happy to know that that's a thing you can buy if you want to make it a bit easier to edge women until their brains break.
Not that I'd ever do that, of course.
