Emerging from Grief Week™️ with some soft Aredi. I gave Elod'i Oct 21 because she feels the same way that I do on that day, when my dad died. She lost her whole family on the day she was born, and she tends to hole up for it.

Luckily, she has a loving husband who takes good care of her.

This is the perfect description of my favorite kind of love. And it's what Ares and Elod'i have always been for each other.
Ares and Elod'i are sleeping, with Ares as the big spoon. They're very closely entwined, with Ares' fingers laced through hers. Both are peacefully asleep, relaxed and safe in each other's company.
