So in my 5e game there are Owl Riders who are allies with giant magical owls called the Owls of the Silvery Moon. I’m trying to decide on magic powers for the owls. I’m thinking about Blur and Moonbeam. Any additional ideas? Always interested to crowdsource ideas.

Starting to record the next season of HomebrewShomebrew. We’re focusing on movies and their relationship to #ttrpgs. @drzoggle.bsky.social and I will watch movies, score them on our CRAP (Comedy, Robbery potential, Awesomeness, and Personality) scale, and discussing what to add to our home games.

Most ttrpg players I know live some terrible movies. Movies that are the equivalent of junk food - not necessarily healthy but awfully enjoyable. For example, I love “Night of the Comet” and “Rock and Rule.” What are your favorite junk food movies?

Any ideas for a fun forest encounter for 5e #dnd that would be an entertaining but moderate challenge to a group of 6 level 5 PCs (not optimized with fighter, barbarian, monk, rogue, sorcerer, and cleric)?
