The DNC cheated in the Primary (look it up) & got caught. Debbie W Shultz resigned because she was caught cheating for HRC. This set the stage for a large # of people not voting in the election. HRC pissed off the Base by feeling entitled to the nomination & then cheating when it was slipping away
