I want to be very clear this isn’t about any one league or team in particular, but I’ve been around the block for a handful of years now and have certainly heard of enough cases to know it’s an issue. And it’s dissapointing.

That said, it’s also a shame that, though the nature of the work itself, reporters doing their jobs might feel as if they cannot report freely. Eggshells need to be walked on when not all leagues and teams support a free press in private and can revoke media accreditation at will.
