Unidentified men grabbing someone off the street and putting her in a car because she wrote an op-Ed. This as flatly authoritarian as anything we’ve seen in this country in a very long time.
Video of the international student at Tufts being arrested by "federal authorities" in Massachusetts has been released and it's terrifying.

They're not even uniformed officers. Just secret police thugs in hoodies and masks.

It's campus protestors now,
but next it'll be those protesting the climate crisis,
then those protesting abortion bans,
then anti-LGBTQ laws,
then social safety net cuts,
then anyone protesting the rollbacks of our rights.

Their goal is to crush any and all dissent.

We need to start understanding oligopoly control of mass media as a form of antitrust violation: they’re using broad market power to keep people from acting in their best interests.
One of the major problems with billionaires owning major media is that it literally does not matter if they are profitable. They can take a loss on them because the propaganda and narrative control is worth every penny.
Bezos isn't trying to make the Washington Post successful, obviously. He's trying to turn it into his Twitter.

That is correct.
