The firing happened the same day (Tue) a federal judge temporarily blocked the CIA and ODNI from firing 11 other officials whose DEI jobs had been eliminated. The 11 had sued, arguing the firing was unconstitutional. About 40 other staff who worked on DEI issues were targeted-and some fired.

The Associated Press said today that it was barred from covering a WH event after it refused to align its editorial policy with a Trump EO ordering the Gulf of Mexico be renamed Gulf of America.

The alliance, it states, is working together to address "systemic challenges" posed by the PRC to Euro-Atlantic security.
