Jane Goodall was my first childhood hero, as I loved animals as a kid and was inspired by her story. I still remember the National Geographic specials about her. RIP.

Gaza

The dead boy tries to open his eyes.
He wants to see the world he is leaving.
But there is nothing to see here,
nothing and nothing, and anyway he is gone.
His parents held him while he died
but they are both dead, too.
Or he held them, no one remembers.

Hi @npr.org! We worked late tonight putting together this handy pocket guide!

It doesn't address road design issues, but if we're going to educate road users, we should include drivers.

It's the size of a folded business card. Print it, fold it, put it in your wallet!

I’ve turned into one of those FaceBook people. I post on public pages to point out to others getting excited over a tupuna photo that it is Ai generated.

I actually find it quite sad.

Seeing this makes me realise the Greens have really missed a trick never asking Billy Apple to design their campaign billboards:
Wanna be cool like Heater and get your very own campaign yard (or window) sign?

Drop by our tent at the Glenwood Ave Arts Fest tomorrow to pick one up! They’re free for all Ninth District residents.

And this, my friends, is why it was so important to submit on that bill:

“Get ambitious in your quest for knowledge.”

Now those are words to live by!
Hey, as a librarian I need to tell you:

Our funding depends on usage.

So go ahead and check out that book even if you don't think you'll finish it. No one will know. Check out that DVD even though you might not like it. Get ambitious in your quest for knowledge.

No retroactive cool, please. Albums that were in the house that you actively purchased and listened to.

On X, Masaki Nobushiro posts a recurring (and useful) drawing about how people wrongly think a 1m tsunami is a cresting wave when it's actually a wall of water filled with dangerous and deadly debris that's strong enough to sweep up a car.

Right folks. Feeling rather down at the moment so bringing back an oldie

Oh also, and this is a BIG tip, listen to official news sources & ignore everything else. Disinfo started coming in immediately during that window of time before all signal dropped, especially via WhatsApp. The speed of it was stunning. Fake AI-generated news articles & memes came out so fast!
