Damn! The good thing about Newsom, is he’s responsive to voters. This “we can’t help you because it will cost us all” shit, is why the minimum wage SHOULD be $40 if it had kept track with “inflation,” (an imaginary number to justify corporate greed, look up McDonald’s price hikes, NOT inflation)

In my field (political scientist, and yeah, I predicted TRUMP would be a dictator) we call this “planned ignorance.”

My father thinks I’m a math idiot, that’s how smart HE is. Yet, his hatred makes him stupid. He thinks he’s a Christian but I’m trying to teach him that Jesus didn’t HATE anyone, like he does. He’s my def of a Republican, they are ALL “me and mine and the rest of you can just die.”

Damn straight! It took me 64 years to learn this, and he didn’t didn’t even get to spend that many years traveling around the sun. He has many more making our lives better.

Funny story, my daughter could speak in complete sentences, very early. She didn’t always get the words right, tho. She told my mother she needed medicine because she had “DollyRhea.” She knew she had a problem, she knew the medicine. She was just saying what she had heard! She wasn’t even 2.

Gotta say, there’s been many times that I’ve regretted giving birth to two kids who are smarter than me. If I could special order them, I’d request they be just a LITTLE bit smarter than me. They’re in their 40s now, so I speak from experience!

The people that serve as our National Guard, literally sign up to PROTECT us, it’s in their damned NAME! They are NEVER meant to police us, and they should never be put in harm’s way. I weep that Trump is using them for politics. He’s a damned monster.
