My old lady cat (15) will purr if I drag her out from under the bed for her pills. She is just grateful I'm holding her, especially if I have to grab her scruff until I can reach her body. Cats are weird.

We have a very smart tortie named Miranda but this is her idiot sister, Mitzi. There is nothing happening behind those eyes. She's gorgeous but that's all she's got going for her.

This is my mom and potatoes. She stopped eating potatoes because daily fries made her gain weight. She cut off all potatoes. If we talk about food, or the poor server asks what side she wants, "oh I don't eat potatoes." No one cares. Just tell them you want broccoli so the next person can order.
