That thing where estrogen makes you look younger? that's a common mistake. It has nothing to do with hormones. It's actually a blessing and curse from the goddess herself that randomly assigns each trans person a transphobe and sucks the youth out of them and transfer it to the trans person.

I've just ordered a Trans flag from @minus18.bsky.social to wear with pride at the rally in Adelaide next Sunday - a rally in solidarity with Transgender kids in Queensland. I've ordered it express post so fingers crossed it arrives in time!

12 weeks ago today I started my HRT journey. They have been 12 wonderful weeks, and I wouldn't change a thing.

It's been an exhausting two weeks, but today I found the energy to hang this windchime outside my lounge room.
It's incredibly soothing and is nice to just listen to it, and conserve what few spoons I have left.
Living with disabilities can be hard, but little things like this can sometimes help.

I've decided to start moving on any mugs which I associate with negative past experiences (essentially all of them), and replace them with mugs I can associate with the new beginnings I am currently in.
This is my first: a monogram mug with the initial of my new name.

Suite No.2 1st mvt had me in tears. It's a stunningly beautiful piece of music.
I think I'll keep an eye out for a Deutsche Grammophon recording of this. I'm glad I could finally get past that pop song - Suite No.1 1st mvt.

My doctor signed off on a disability parking permit for me today. Ironically it was having to change parks to one with more room to swing the door open in the doctor's carpark, which prompted me to finally bring it up with him.

With all the media in their pocket (all media with any influence) it's going to be a long, dark period in American history. With the media narrative now firmly in support of Trump and Musk's ideals, this is a period the country is going to struggle to come out of.
