I made it to episode three of h the first season and abandoned it. Not consciously but I just couldn’t find the head space to go back to it. And I finish most series I start because I want to see how they wrap it up. It just left me feeling cold.

It makes my heart soar. It was on an Old Cafe del Mar CD I had. Probably still have it somewhere. It’s been an age since I’ve heard it.

I think the magic ingredient was Jennifer Coolidge. It’s definitely missing that humorous levity. It’s all a bit dark and drab.

That’s a beautiful way to memorialise your lovely sister. I resonated with so much of what you have shared. I lost two brothers very suddenly, (not at the same time) and it is quite different from the long goodbye. It is quite a jolt to the senses. I hope you’re doing ok.

I did too. Apparently he did a read through of the entire script with the director, playing himself of course, before he signed off on it. That made it even more special for me. I mean, he endorsed it fully. Can’t get more authentic than that.

I loved A Complete Unknown. It fulfilled all expectations and I left feeling like I’d glimpsed a tiny bit of Dylan’s genius. It’s a wonderful film.
