Through the brutal years of the military junta in Myanmar, its women MPs have been at the forefront of the fight to restore democracy despite threats to their physical safety and the security of their families. They are brave and resilient.

From 1815 - 1867 it is estimated some 150,000 Irish immigrants arrived in Saint John, New Brunswick, followed by further waves of immigration. We are part of the "Famine Trail" with memorials commemorating the suffering and lives lost. Ours is placed facing Partridge Island, our quarantine island.

At the NATO meeting a loud US republican saw my CDN flag pin on my lapel and reached for it saying, "Hey Canada."
I stopped him.
"Don't touch the Canadian flag."
"Just joking," he said.
"You'll die before you touch our flag," I said, "not joking."
He scrambled out of there.

Canada was there to support Ukraine while your boss ingratiated himself with Putin.
I know you have friends in the Canadian Conservative party but don't mistake their spinelessness for how other Canadians will react in defending our sovereignty.

The US Transportation Safety Board will only post info updates on "X"??? Musk has taken over a US government agency charged with public safety.
For media covering the airplane crashes in Washington and Philadelphia—all NTSB updates about news conferences or other investigative information will be posted to this X account. We will not be distributing information via email.

Did I actually refer to Elon Musk's legendary Telsa as a "douche panzer"?
And at the parliament of Canada's press gallery?
I wonder how that term slipped out.
But yes, I'd hammer him with tariffs.
I don't like fascists.

The towering mountains of the Canadian Rockies emerge and, briefly, nature manifests as art. Nature's endless artistic potential is all around us. It's not always easy to see, but when you do, it brings great joy.
