I keep seeing people almost outright calling for #tyrannicide, and while I understand the reasoning behind it, I cannot stress this enough: tyrannicide is not the answer. It will create a #martyr and potentially expedite the fall of our #Republic. We cannot follow in Rome’s footsteps on this.

Hegseth thought this was a good response. Definitely done assessing relative intelligence—nor am I a Hegseth biographer—but just process that this doorknob thinks what he said was a _good_ response to the allegation that he’s paving the way for war crimes (abroad and perhaps even here at home, too).
Hegseth says firing of top military lawyers was about making sure "they don't exist to be roadblocks to anything that happens."

Republicans seem to forget that the government employees being fired are real people. These are people with families and bills to pay who have worked hard to meet the qualifications for the job they are being ripped from. MAGA is out of touch with reality.
