If Admiral Bradley didn’t realize before that these cowards were setting him up to take the fall, he knows it now. Time to hire a good lawyer.

Kelly: He runs around on stage talking about lethality and the warrior ethos.. That’s not the message that should be coming from the Secretary of Defense… He runs around on a stage like he’s a 12 year old playing army. It’s embarrassing.

Bar is so low for the media that I'm feeling encouraged that an obvious war crime generated a second news cycle.

Self defense against… victims clinging to flaming wreckage in the sea
FOX: You said the follow up strike was lawful. What law is it that allows no survivors?

LEAVITT: The strike was conducted in self defense to protect Americans

Reporter: Why won't the administration confirm or deny whether or not there were a survivors after that initial first strike? What imminent threat would survivors pose who were clinging presumably to the wreckage of that boat?

Leavitt: You guys are not listening fully to the statement I provided.

This is why military service members should refuse to follow illegal orders. Because when the shit hits the fan, Trunp and Hegseth will deny everything and blame you. bsky.app/profile/acyn...
Reporter: Does the administration deny that that second strike happened or did it happen and the administration denies that Hegseth gave the order

Leavitt: The latter is true

We have a cabinet level Secretary of State, a diplomatic corps, Special Envoys, and Defense team to do this work.

Her parents owe their lives to the United States accepting them as asylum seekers fleeing religious persecution in Iraq in the 1980s. She wouldn't be here if we had not offered her family safe haven.

The hypocrisy is stunning.

I skimmed this, didn't really see the legal scholar's name anywhere, but will disagree in part with the summary. I'm a former 24th STS Tier 1 SOWT, in order for there to be a war crime there must be a declared armed conflict and that doesn't exist here. This is just murder, plain and simple.
🧵A legal scholar finds the killing by special forces of survivors in the Navy attack on an alleged drug boat to be a war crime and murder.

"the currently governing DOD Manual in Section 5.9 states clearly that persons “placed hors de combat may not be made the object of attack.” ...

Summary: Kash Patel is hard at work seeking suspect already in custody. Potus is directing (illegally) more National Guard troops to DC despite having gotten two shot. He also granted asylum to the shooter. You literally can't make this shit up.

No idea why an Afghan refugee shot National Guard soldiers within walking distance of the White House, but this new USCIS directive was revealed on Monday. Worth noting.
The folks at @afghanevac.bsky.social have in hand a new USCIS directive which largely targets Afghan refugees who fled the Taliban in the wake of the U.S. withdrawal in 2021.

In case you needed a reminder that the most loathsome people in the world work for DHS.

I'm going to make this very clear, for Fox, CNN, podcasters, MSM media sites, NY Times, Washington Post, The Guardian. Certainly all of MAGA.

President Trump gave the Afghan shooter (assassin?) of the the two National Guard soldiers asylum in 2025.

Clarification: It was NOT an illegal immigrant.

When Hegseth spoke about the National Guard shooting, he said:

“I mentioned the faith of this country. The Christian faith”

Why is he invoking Christian nationalism?

The US is not a Christian country.

It’s a country with the freedom to practice whatever religion you want.
