1/9 European countries are preparing to defend against the Russia that invaded Ukraine in 2022.

But that version of Russia no longer exists.

The Russia of 2025 or 2027 is more dangerous, more experienced, and far ahead in unmanned warfare.

Europe is not ready

Read the human rights reports on what happens in occupied Ukraine. Rape and torture dungeons deliberately built in residential areas, so entire communities can hear the screams. Murders. Abductions. Forced prostitution. Theft. Just lawless anarchic horror.

Have any of the Palestine activist groups that sabotage military equipment in Europe actually managed to damage anything that goes to Israel?

So far, they:

Destroyed equipment meant for Ukraine
Vandalised planes supplying troops in Estonia
Vandalised a factory producing Eurofighter components.

Yes, the US deserves blame for enabling Putin—but Europe needs to look in the mirror.

Wishing the war to end hasn’t stopped it.

Our inaction has put Ukraine—and ourselves—in this position.

It’s high time to wake up and step up. No more excuses!

Authoritarian regimes are flooding our social media with bots to divide, radicalize, and weaken the West. And we are barely fighting back.

Trump keeps praising Putin for rejecting yet another one of his ceasefire proposals. It's been months of the same pattern. At this point, Putin could spit in Trump’s face on live TV, and Trump would still thank and praise him. So weak!

‼️🇺🇦 Zelensky: Now here is another attempt at manipulation. For some reason everyone should wait for May 8 and only then cease fire to provide Putin with silence during parade. We value human lives, not parades.

That is why we believe – the world believes – that there is no reason to wait for May 8.

The army and the people who love animals and each other this much will not lose. This is not the conclusion of a soft heart, but the cold calculus of war - morale, ephemeral though it may be, adds to the scales of strategy.

President Zelensky just updated the death toll from Russia’s Palm Sunday missile attack on Sumy to 31 people.
Russia just killed dozens of Ukrainians in a missile strike on Palm Sunday, a day after Trump’s envoy Steve Witkoff met Putin, shook hands and posed for cameras. Witkoff visited an Orthodox Christian cathedral. Today church-goers were targeted.

The scenes out of Sumy are truly horrific. Two ballistic missiles into the heart of the city killed 31 civilians and 80+ wounded more on Palm Sunday.

Unforgivable.
Area of Sumy attacked by fascist Russia today with (probably) Iskandar-M quasi-ballistic missiles. Three theaters, a university hospital clinic, a conference center, a gym, and a concert hall nearby. No military targets within Iskandar-M's 30-70m accuracy range - pure terrorism.

«Trump’s policies are achieving the opposite of what he intended. Instead of America, he is making Europe great again.»
Josef Janning wrote in a recent issue of Internationale Politik that the EU is closer to failing than ever before. I disagreed and got to write for why I think the opposite.

Precisely because Europe has never had so few alternatives as it does right now, it is not going to fail.
Necessity, the Mother of Invention
Europe has never had so few alternatives as it does today. But that is exactly why Europe will succeed.
