The thing that sucks about being interested in someone is that you feel singlehood far, far more keenly. Triples the “Am I really so bad at this?” feelings. “Am I that awful?” etc.

I hit on an eyeshadow combination that gets me compliments from everyone. Customers keep asking me what it is. It’s made me wildly egotistical save for one thing — they’re not my crush, so, ultimately it all rings a little hollow.

I didn’t even get to speak to the one man in town I find attractive, because I was too busy shoveling food into bags, while the customers ate more food in front of me and wondered aloud about what to buy for dinner. HOW can they live like this.

Most Americans can only do 2 things — eat and spend money. Unless you take away both, they will never unify and revolt. As long as they can keep buying and eating, nothing will matter.

Feeling mildly depressed. My last weekend before what promises to be a tough semester, and I spent it serving soul-dead Americans who appreciate nothing. They don’t value their time. Their families. Their lives. They don’t appreciate their money.

Watching TWO TOWERS and I love every thing about Viggo Mortensen but he was god tier gorgeous as Aragorn. I papered my college-era walls with the posters. No regrets.

The best part of working 8 days in a row, succumbing to exhaustion, and cancelling my plans was my boss telling me “Well, what else could I have done? You wanted the weekend off.” I told her I’d be sure not to request any time off again.
