This was ploughed up in a field on Southfield farm south Lanarkshire in 1957. The person who found it took it home and put in his garden rockery until 1970 when he donated it to Dumfries Museum. It was then sent to Glasgow museums where it has remained. It appears to be part of a medieval cross
