Bimonthly short story report! I had a great time with these collections and anthologies as well as the online magazine Nightmare. It's been great to read a ton of authors I hadn't been familiar with and to spend an extended time with single voices. Stories close to home and in far-flung fantasies!

And you can do really interesting things with substitutions, IF you know what you're doing. For example, in COCKTAILS AND CONSOLES, we have a drink inspired by Death Stranding, the Timefall Fizz, which uses whole milk powder in place of an egg white. And this is intentional
