the way these companies work is not by income, rather by the perception they project towards investors.

If investors see that you've lost 1.7M users in such a short amount of time, a) they're going to tell you to fix it, or b) they'd want to short or sell their stocks, driving your value down

my biggest pet peeve of the latest idk 10 years is "we have pushed the technology farther way than ANY other console. You need to buy this upgrade that _won't_ make games run faster, will make downloads longer to complete, BUT makes COD look better when you zoom in the image a _lot_"

"The democrats decided to ignore Palestine and threw an entire election, losing a wide amount of voters by negligence. Are you proud online left? It was definitely _your_ fault that normies didn't go out to vote"

I really unironically like League, but I decided that it was best for me to explore more games instead of sinking multiple hours each season just to get a victorious skin on a character I never cared about

tripping hazards on a church's staircases? are they aware that the average follower would die from tripping?

Like SAG-AFTRA months earlier did get increased benefits for actors, but now that 4-8 people did something on Hoyo he considers bad then "they are greedy and they suck".
June 18, 2025 at 5:10 PM
to me it sucks that a conversation with a mutual revolved around Hoyo and how SAG-AFTRA was somehow corrupt and evil and I was like, "don't focus on the output of a fraction of the VA's"

I hope he has a combination of goofball that might snap at any moment and beat you senseless, but I'm happy to let him cook and be happy with whatever he brings to the table
June 10, 2025 at 8:40 PM
didn't he also throw the election in Germany, or another european nation?
May 20, 2025 at 3:51 PM
this is both very cool, yet a bit rage inducing how much reward he gets off of such a good low profile move

I don't remember where, but I think they've confirmed You is the last building (totaling 20) and that the only thing missing is minigames for each one.

ofc, dev plans might change at any time, but I'd assume "no"

I expected the mobile version, but it having the farm minigame both amazes and worries me

additionally I believe that there is a subsection of people buying consoles that grew up during the console war exclusive era, and cannot fathom the idea that platform exclusivity is anti-consumer.

Instead they see it as an achievement for sticking to their guts and buying one console over another

so animators have been voting on that category for years, yet we've mostly gotten Pixar and/or Disney winners for decades?

- S2: Did that just happen?
- S3: Somehow, Joel returned
- S4: They fly now? They fly now

I love her PLE matches, but in a weird way I don't appreciate her in a week by week basis.

Even if she adopts the identity of being a heel, I don't think it's fun to hate on her after years of her character being the same, and the odd habit of outside-of-wrestling drama blending on her storylines
April 20, 2025 at 2:12 AM
well, animators on US and Japan are part of the job sector that is steadily increasing homeless statistics.
In the other hand, China is the country that is decreasing this statistic the most.

You can't solve those issues without having strong labor protection (or strong-er than the US)
April 10, 2025 at 8:20 PM
the market argument is not implying that anime doesn't sell, it's bringing up the fact that corporate overlords on the US only care to make the next Moana
April 10, 2025 at 8:09 PM
and they do anime-like most of the time instead of disney/pixar since that's what works there. + the production of anime has been increasingly been using outsourcing to keep up to production

I'll be honest I don't know the Chinese anime scene enough, but I'd wager their labor protections are better
April 10, 2025 at 8:07 PM
Well, my comment was reductive, but since the US hyperfocuses on increasing profits, it has less labor protections, artistic expression (since "only disney/pixar-like things can be blockbusters/sell toys"), and labor is more expensive in the US than outsourcing animation (anything Netflix owned)

If you prefer to discover the fight on your own you may ignore this, but yeah, hitting his chest or face enough should uncover it's more fleshy skin underneath.

Additionally, as it uses its fire attacks the outer shell might begin to turn molten hot, making it easier to hit
