Your parents are almost certainly safer on holiday in Ireland than the US, generally speaking. What is your mom specifically worried about?

My parents are about to head over to Europe for a few months, to places less American-friendly than Ireland, and are utterly unconcerned. Some people will probably ask about politics, but unless your mom is planning to defend the idea of a US invasion of Greenland, I doubt they’ll have any issues.
