I don't say this often, but if SCOTUS issues a stay here, the NY courts should go ahead and ignore it. The timing of Trump's "did immunity preclude some of the admitted evidence" appeal is a question of pure state law, and with trial over there's no prejudice to adhering to regular order
Who cares if five can grant this with a one-line order, it dies in 12 days, and they never have to explain themselves?
