In May I turn 33—the age my great-grandfather Eugen Ruppert was when he went missing in WWII. A sculptor forced into war, his loss shaped my path in art. Now, on the brink of another war, our works meet in one exhibition, exploring trauma, legacy, loss, and the tangled threads of history. 🖤

The chairs are a historical remnant from when the house was an inn. It's funny to think how social my ancestors were vs. their misanthropic great-great-...grandchild with social anxiety. Guess in their shoes I would also occasionally go poltergeist mode. 🤷♀️
