One last chunk of meatloaf from Sunday (the rest was sandwiches and plated dinners). French fries from today's lunch at the diner.
Onions, carrots, green beans, a sad turnip, Tuscan kale.

Hah, found a pretty good picture from last September, when our cruise ship was languishing in NY harbor due to a hurricane. (long story)
Gulls were attracted to our running lights, and just hovered alongside. It looked really weird.

I don't have great bird pics on my phone but I'm responsible for encouraging my spouse to end up running Christmas Bird Counts in our local park.

Hey, so I write books about chaos muppet witches in 1950s and 60s northern England. Are they spooky? Only if you get on their wrong side. They do tend to get on each other's nerves, tho. There may be some blood involved.

I made ham and eggs for lunch yesterday, and one of the fancy expensive jumbo eggs had two yolks! Only the 2nd I've ever seen in person.
BTW I often cook eggs in this weird way: crack egg into pan on top of other stuff, poke the yolk a little, then cover and let set.
