Earlier this week E84-er Julia Signell visited the European Space Agency (ESA) remote sensing facility outside of Rome to hammer out the details of how to represent #Zarr data in STAC.

Expect a blog post in the next week or so summarizing the outcomes!

#ClimateWeekNYC is flying by! A highlight so far: yesterday's Scaling AI for Climate Innovation panel.

We loved the nuanced discussion surrounding when to use AI, and when to take a step back for the sake of the planet.

It's not every day you can feel everyone in a room aligning around shared goals, and we're definitely feeling it at #CNG2025.

Chris Holmes summed it up in his keynote, proposing switching from "geospatial infrastructure" to "geospatial ecosystem" to emphasize interoperability & cooperation.
