My memory of Undertale! To expand on this a bit, I remember this game spreading like a disease within our group. I watched no less than 3 friends play through it separately and entirely on the TV in my den, and it never got old. I can’t remember the last time something like this came along before it

Dekar from Lufia 2. He’s got like…almost no bearing on the plot. He hangs for a little bit, has a “blade” named after him despite very clearly using an axe, just a baffling fella that I adore because he hits fucking HARD and just wants to fight.
