Saw the Santa Barbara String Quartet perform music by Joe Hisaishi last night. He’s the legendary composer behind many Studio Ghibli classics. Hearing themes from Howl’s Moving Castle, My Neighbor Totoro and Spirited Away was like stepping into a Ghibli film.
