Another typo was made... orz

Rest in peace, beautiful king, I am not correcting you...

My bad for typing on an English keyboard on my phone: I meant to say that We haply few is a good in-between game for other games for me.

I make so many typos on mobile English keyboard it's unreal... free me from this touch screen monster... I want my tactile keys back...

I've seen worse bugs in bigger games like Skyrim or Assassin's Creed, frankly.

Assassin's Creed actually has a few bugs that I am... incredibly salty about, even after I abandoned the games that I can credit the bugs to years ago.... Still mad about it... But that's not whar this thread is for...😔

Sometimes the location spawns have things clip into eachother, or NPCs don't sit on the benches, but instead sit on the air around the bench are two somewhat frequent examples... But it's not something that bothers me, haha.

And back to: I like this game... The graphics are really pretty, even if sometimes they bug out.

Regardless, that's the one freshest in my mind right now, but I'm sure that there are others if I care to fish in my mind palace for them.

I still am not a fan of how they told the story.

I liked the Yam Cult that I went to as Arthur, though. It felt sillier with a lot less real-life implications about it that I can't really say I felt comfortable with.

Yes, Heaven's Gate is an older event in comparison to newer cult horror stories (given that it was founded in 1974, and the infamous mass suicide was in 1997), and yes, it had been embedded into a lot of pop culture and thus has been a... little bit sanitized, to the public eye, but...

Notably on Sally's main story quests, she has one where she has to go infiltrate a cult, which is... Painfully obviously based on Heaven's Gate, and I'm not fond of how it was treated.

Anyway, I really like the game so far. The story is genuinely enthralling, and the characters are more-or-less extremely believable to me. Though I don't really agree with or like some of the contents in particular side quests so far.
December 13, 2024 at 6:59 AM
Regardless, I won't point any fingers about anything specific until I have all the facts that i can get from the game... But that's the general idea of what's brewing so far.
December 13, 2024 at 6:59 AM
I tend to not like people who can't say things straight for their lives, though. A category which Sally falls into, I think. I get frustrated when people beat around the bush like she does. Especially in a language like English, which can easily be utilized as a direct langauge, but almost never is.

Part of it is that I find her, as a character, well done and interesting (believable)... but if I take a different step and see her as more of a "person", I can't say I like her.
December 13, 2024 at 6:59 AM
So I guess empathy with a more... clinical or artificial "I can put myself in your situation and do the same actions that you do". Because I can walk myself through the whys and hows, but I can't bring myself to agree with all of Sally's actions either.
December 13, 2024 at 6:59 AM
At least I can't really empathize with Sally so far (I just completed the train station at the time of writing). But I can understand, at least a little... Something a little closer to sympathy than empathy but without feeling sorry for her...
December 13, 2024 at 6:59 AM
On the topic of Sally, though... She's... complicated...? To me.

I don't exactly hate her, but I didn't get the best of a first impression either. Her character is one that I can understand after thought, but not instantly, and I can't really empathize with her.

Arthur is the kind of guy I'd probably write a fanfiction for, hahaha.
December 13, 2024 at 6:59 AM
I like Arthur in a tragic way, haha. He's like a sad wet cat to me... Riddled with guilt and nowhere to funnel that to other than becoming self-destructive in his desperation to remedy a failure from years ago.

Touching, in a way, but also devistating. A little pathetic.

First things first: I Love Percy. I kind of got an instant kindered spirits connection. I talk exactly the same. I stutter a lot (single sounds, having to restart sentences), I speak with a lisp... I have to take a second to answer anyone when they talk to me... my vocal tone is typically very flat.
