At the same time, she has been at the forefront of building power and uplifting working class voices in our community and in her workplace as a union leader at SEIU 509.

I have worked closely with @mwalles2025 as she campaigned for the millionaire’s tax and advocated for wealthy corporations and institutions to pay their fair share so Somerville has more resources for affordable housing, thriving public schools, and fair pay for municipal workers.
